Looking for somewhere to explore on your next walk?

Shelburne, did you know we have over 15 km of walking routes? Do you want to discover Shelburne… Get out and try our new Get Walking Shelburne app.

Check out some of our favorite walking routes!
Fiddle Park Loop

Fiddle Park is our most scenic loop that takes you by the Besley Drain, passing by the woods at Fiddle Park, and continuing on to Simon Street Park.  This loop comes with two walking options depending on your level of intensity. For the more advanced walker take the challenge and complete the full 3.5 km.

Greenwood Park Loop
Enjoy a leisurely stroll of 3.8 km around the Greenwood Park loop.  This loop visits the Shelburne Fair Grounds, Greenwood Crescent Park and Greenwood Park.
Simon Street Park Loop

Looking for a easier walk this one is for you!  The Simon Street Park Loop is 3.2 km.  This loop takes you through the historic downtown, over the bridge at the Besley drain, on to the Dufferin County Rail Trail and visits both Jack Downing and Simon Street Park.

Summerhill Park Loop
Are you an avid walker?  Take a stroll through our longest loop in Shelburne.  Summerhill Park Loop is a moderate 5.2 km loop. This loop will take you to Shelburne's historic downtown, by the Natasha Paterson Memorial Park, Summerhill Park and over the bridge at Walter's Creek Park.

Want to use a map instead of the app? Check out the Get Walking Shelburne Map.  A copy of this map is posted outside Town Hall at 203 Main Street East since it is not printer friendly.

Walk to exercise not socialize

Walking is a great tool to maintain physical and mental health while social distancing. Those who choose to walk within the Town limits or on sidewalks or pathways must comply with the provincial restrictions and practice social distancing by limiting contact with other people – stay about 2 metres (6 feet) or a hockey stick apart.

The Town of Shelburne would like to remind residents that it is critical that we take these measures to protect the community.
