In the heart of Shelburne resides a self-taught artist, who began his painting journey in 2018. A stroke of fate led him to explore a new direction in life, igniting his passion and finding solace in art.
Initially starting with abstract expression Dave found his true passion in portraits. Sparks ignited when clients saw themselves on canvas giving a connection, thus fueling his love for the arts.
Through his portraits, he delved into the depths of human emotions, capturing the essence of his clients with remarkable authenticity. His clients were not just figures on a canvas; they were stories waiting to be told. His journey is an inspiring tale of resilience, passion, and the transformative power of art in shaping lives and connecting people through the universal language of emotions.
John Opoku is an Orangeville based artist born in Ghana West Africa. John has emerged as an up-and-coming artist who has the power to mesmerize viewers with strokes of unparalleled brilliance on canvas.
John began his art journey at a very young age when he used to draw photos of action figures on posters. His background in Graphic Design and his love for painting has been blended to produce stunning acrylic images.
In recent times, John has begun to paint monochromatic artworks, based on natural colors like black and white. Which has been received well by many people.
“I hope my art inspires you to paint because art is life. There is life in every stroke and every color.”
