The Town of Shelburne is thrilled to host a new exhibit this July, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Orangeville Art Group (OAG). Titled “OAG: 70 Years of Art in the Community,” the exhibit will run from July 7 to 25, 2025, at the Shelburne Town Hall Art Gallery.
Founded in the 1950s, OAG has played a vital role in nurturing local talent and promoting the arts throughout the Headwaters region. The group’s 100+ members represent a wide range of styles and media—from painting and photography to sculpture and fabric art.
The exhibit will feature a curated selection of works that reflect the group’s rich history and creative diversity. A public reception on July 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. invites the community to meet the artists and celebrate this milestone together.
