Shelburne is about to burst with Canadian pride as the Shelburne Canada Day Home Decorating Contest kicks off! This year, the Shelburne Canada Day Committee is inviting residents to transform their homes into dazzling displays of maple leaf magic, with a chance to win an incredible prize generously donated by Shelburne Home Hardware.
Whether its flags flying high, lights shining bright, or creative tributes to Canadian heritage, the contest is all about celebrating community spirit and the love of country. With residents leading the charge, Shelburne is set to become a glowing tribute to Canada leading up to July 1!
Participants simply decorate their homes, and Town staff will capture photos, sharing them online for the community to vote for their favorite displays.

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:55 p.m.
Decoration Display Period: June 25 – July 2, 2025, at 11:55 p.m.

Show your Canadian pride! Use flags, maple leaves, red and white colors, or anything that represents Canada.
Make it visible! Decorations should be seen from the street so everyone can enjoy them.
Be creative! Entries will be judged on originality, theme, and overall impact.
Keep it safe! Make sure the decorations are secure and don’t block sidewalks or roads.
Keep it family-friendly! Displays should be respectful and fun for all ages
