Public Alert: Canada Post Strike
Due to the nationwide strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post has suspended all mail and parcel delivery services. As a result, the Town of Shelburne will not be receiving any mail during this disruption.
Beginning in December 2025, the Province of Ontario is changing how 9-1-1 medical calls are dispatched in Dufferin County with the Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS). Curbside leaf collection will begin the week of October 20, 2025. Full details are still being finalized—please check back soon for full details.
To better serve residents, Shelburne Town Hall will offer extended hours for water/sewer and tax payments. On Thursday, October 23, the office will remain open until 7 PM, and on Tuesday, October 28, Town Hall will open early at 7 AM.
