The Town of Shelburne is looking for enthusiastic community members to join our Event Ambassador Volunteer Team. Our volunteers play a vital role in making local events welcoming, inclusive, and fun for everyone.

Whether you love helping behind the scenes or being right in the action with families and attendees, there’s a place for you on the team!

Event Ambassadors help with a variety of tasks depending on the event, including:

Event Set‑Up & Tear‑Down

  • Arranging tables, tents, signage, and activity stations
  • Assisting staff with equipment and décor
  • Helping ensure event areas are clean and ready to welcome guests

Crafts & Activity Helpers

  • Supporting kids’ craft tables
  • Leading simple hands-on activities
  • Offering a friendly presence for families and children

Attendee Engagement

  • Greeting community members
  • Answering basic questions (schedule, washrooms, parking, activity times)
  • Encouraging participation in activities and photo opportunities
  • Surveying attendees

Event Support

  • Helping manage line-ups
  • Supporting small contests, raffles, or giveaways
  • Assisting with volunteer-only info stations or hydration tents

No prior experience is needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to help.
