Lost Dogs
If your pet is missing, please contact us at 519-925-2600. Animal licenses assist in the fast and safe return of pets if it gets lost. Dog tags are immediately visible to anyone who finds a pet and shows who the pet belongs to. If your pet is lost or involved in an emergency situation, the license provides information needed to contact the owner.
Please contact your local shelters or visit frequently to check for your pet.
Other things you can do to find your pet:
- Check your contact information with the microchip company if your pet is microchipped
- Post flyers in your neighbourhood
- Ask neighbours to watch for your pet and check their garages, backyards and under porches
