Canine Control Information

If you own a dog within the Town of Shelburne, you are required to license them each year.

Pet licensing in Shelburne is managed by DocuPet Inc. Visit  shelburneon.docupet.com to license your dog and learn more about their Lost Pet System and local DocuPet Rewards Program that are included with your dog license.

Found a dog after hours?

• Please contact DocuPet's HomeSafe™ Team at 1-855-249-1370 so we can help get this pet home quickly!
• Animal Control will retrieve the dog within the next business day.
• If the dog has a Town of Shelburne Dog Tag, please email the tag number and your contact information or contact the Shelburne Police for owner contact information
• If the dog appears to be aggressive, please contact the Dufferin OPP at 1-888-310-1122
