Water and Sewer Certificates
Water and Sewer Certificates provide details about any outstanding balances or unbilled amounts on a property's water account. These certificates are commonly requested during the sale, purchase, or refinancing of a property.
If you're involved in a real estate transaction and need to confirm whether there are any outstanding water charges, you or your lawyer may request a Water Certificate. Please check with your lawyer to confirm if a request has already been submitted.
Important Information
- Issuance: Certificates are issued on the closing date and will be emailed to the address provided in the request.
- Privacy: For privacy and security reasons, certificates will only be sent to the requesting party. We do not forward certificates to third parties or alternate addresses.
