2022 Dog Tags
The 2022 Dog Tags and Invoices will be mailed out the third week of January 2022. If you need to inform us of any changes, please email crichards@shelburne.ca or call the office at 519-925-2600.
Pay your dog tag
At the Town of Shelburne, we have made paying for dog tag(s) convenient.
Drop Box |
You can drop off your payment outside of our regular hours. Place your payment in the night deposit box (brass mail slot) located at the employee entrance to Town Hall on Victoria St. |

To make an online payment, you will need:

You can pay a dog tag in person by coming to Town Hall located at 203 Main St. E. We accept the following types of payment:

Make your cheque payable to the Town of Shelburne and mail it with your bill stub to: Town Hall |
NOTE: Residents will have the opportunity to pay their dog tags without penalty or interest over the next 90 days. Nonpayment may result in the fees being transferred to taxes and collected as a debt to the municipality.

New applications for 2022 Dog Tag(s) are now available. Applications can be emailed to crichards@shelburne.ca. You are required to license each dog that resides on a property annually, or within 7 days of acquiring a dog.
To register a therapy dog or a service dog you will be required to submit supporting documentation along with your application. There is no charge to register a service animal.
