This year the annual EDC Breakfast has been broken down to 4 virtual sessions or series. These sessions continue to provide and highlight important topics that would normally be discussed during and after the EDC Breakfast. Topics such as Shelburne's growth (Here we grow Again), Economic Outlook, and Cyber Security and post event topics, which would normally be offered after the breakfast as a value-added session, “Succession Planning".

Join us as we discuss Shelburne’s current and future growth.Over 15 years ago the first Provincial Growth Plan in Ontario was released for the area known as the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH), a broad and fast-growing region with the largest concentration of people and jobs in Canada, and set growth targets to the year 2031. As required by the current Growth Plan (revised in 2020), Dufferin County is updating its growth forecasts and determining urban area land needs as well as intensification and density targets to accommodate growth to the year 2051. How much growth is expected in Shelburne? With only limited vacant land area remaining with Shelburne’s boundaries, where will it go? Join Mayor Wade Mills, Steve Wever MCIP, RPP the President of GSP Group Inc, Stephen Burnett P.Eng., the Principal of S. Burnett & Associates Limited (SBA), Mike McLean P.Eng. Aaron WudrickAaron is a lawyer and the Director of MLI’s Domestic Policy Program. A graduate of the University of Waterloo (economics and political science) and the University of Western Ontario (law), he practiced litigation in his native Kitchener, Ontario, and then corporate law with a major international law firm in London, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi, before returning to Canada to work as a political consultant and lobbyist. Prior to joining MLI, he spent six years as the national spokesperson for a prominent non-profit advocacy group. He lives in Ottawa.
