2025 Street Sweeping

Street Sweeping Program – 2025

The Town will start street sweeping the week of April 21, if the weather allows. This helps clean roads and parking lots by removing sand and debris. It also prevents clogged storm drains and keeps roads safe to drive on.

How You Can Help:

• Don’t sweep leaves, dirt, or debris into piles on the road.
• Avoid parking on the street when sweeping is happening.
• Keep garbage and recycling bins off the road and bring them in quickly after collection.
• Keep sports equipment away from the curb and boulevard.
• Be patient—street sweeping might cause some noise and dust.
• Understand that bad weather may delay sweeping.
• Be careful when driving near street-sweeping trucks.

Sweeping usually finishes by June, if the weather is good.

Downtown sidewalks will also be cleaned and washed during this time.
