Construction Continues: New Water Tower on Luxton Way

Just East of the Public Works Yard on Luxton Way, construction continues to build the Town’s new and second Water Tower. 

The main function of a water tower is to store and pressurize the Town’s water system, which is not only important for when you turn on your tap, but also to make sure that there is enough water supply and pressure for emergencies and firefighting capabilities. 

The new tower will support the Town’s maximum daily water usage, fire flow volume requirement, and meet the Town’s water storage needs for the next 20 years. Construction to continue until completion Fall 2022.
