Planning Public Meeting

A Planning Public Meeting was held for Applications for Draft Plan of Subdivision (DPS/20/02) and Zoning Bylaw Amendment (Z20/02_ for 416, 420 and 428 Main Street West for NMJ Developments Inc., Sahyog Investments Inc. and 2728476 Ontario Limited.

Report from the Town Planner

Bill 17 – Protect Ontario by Building Faster and Smarter Act, 2025

Council received report P2025-04 from the Town Planner regarding Bill 17 – Protect Ontario by Building faster and smarter Act, 2025. The Planner included comments pertaining to the proposed Bill 17 and received approval from Council to submit the comments to the Environmental Registry of Ontario.

Future Fire Services – Town of Shelburne

Council received report CAO 2025-02 Future Fire Services - Town of Shelburne from the CAO, endorsed the dissolving of the Shelburne and District Fire Board and re-establishing a fire department as part of the Town of Shelburne by Quarter 2 or Quarter 3 of 2026.

Long-Term Financial Plan

Council received report FS 2025-05 Long Term Financial Plane 2025-2035 from the Director of Financial Services/Treasurer. This plan replaces the 5 Year Capital Plan 2022-2026.
