Main Street Road Work and Parking Restrictions Notice

There will be parking restrictions along Main Street and William Street during road work on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24, 2023.

Contracted road works will begin tomorrow, Thursday November 23 at 7:00am to remove the existing roadway material impacted from the Main Street Water Main Break on Monday November 20, 2023.

On Friday November 24, 2023, Contractors will carry out repaving efforts. 

Residents should be aware that this schedule is subject to change due to weather impacts and other unforeseen construction delays. 

Traffic impacts can be expected during the construction period.  There is also a potential for noise associated with construction to be heard during this time.

The Town of Shelburne advises residents:

• Overnight parking restrictions are in effect and no vehicles are to be parked on any roadways between midnight and 8:00am.
• Do not park vehicles in parking spaces that have been blocked off for road work.
• Drive with elevated caution at reduced speeds through all construction zones.
