NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
UNDER SECTION 45 OF THE PLANNING ACT
Take notice that the Committee of Adjustment of the Corporation of the Town of Shelburne will hold a public meeting on:
MONDAY, JULY 22ND, 2024
The public meeting is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m., or as shortly thereafter as possible, and will be held in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Offices, 203 Main Street East, Shelburne. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following planning application:
COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT
1) Application for Minor Variance A22/09R – The owner of the property located at 402 First Avenue East has submitted an application for a Minor Variance to request relief from Section 4.2.2 of Zoning By-law 38-2007. The purpose of the application is to permit a rear yard setback of 7.0 metres for the existing dwelling on the property, whereas 7.5 metres is required. An application for a Minor Variance (A22/09) was previously submitted and approved with conditions in relation to a consent application (B22/03) to permit a rear yard setback of 7.20 metres for the existing dwelling on the retained property. Due to an imprecise measurement for the original application, the applicant is requesting a further reduction of 0.20 metre based on a newer survey prepared for the consent. The reduction is required in order to facilitate final approval of the consent application which has been approved with conditions.
