Operations Update – Winter Clean-Up

Snow Clearing Update

Our crews are busy clearing snow after the big storm over the last week.

The operations team is plowing, blowing and removing snow from roads, sidewalks, and the downtown core.

The utilities team is digging out fire hydrants. It will take time, so thank you to everyone helping keep them clear.

Contractors are cutting back high snowbanks around town.

Heavy snow can slow down our plows, making it hard to keep up.

We appreciate your patience and kindness as we work on snow clean-up.

You can help by:

• Keeping hydrants clear of snow
• Using your whole front yard for snow storage
• Not parking on the road
• Not putting waste containers on the road, sidewalks, or snowbanks
• Giving snowplows and equipment plenty of room to work
