Parking and Drop off at Shelburne Schools

As children head back to school after the summer, we all have a responsibility to be more watchful on the roads. At our schools (Centennial Hylands Elementary School, Glenbrook Elementary School and Hyland Heights Elementary School) there are areas designated as NO STOPPING near school zones. These are installed for the safety of all children and parents. Vehicles stopping, even momentarily, can quickly create a dangerous environment for children as they exit vehicles & become difficult to see around cars/trucks. Vehicles identified in a No Stopping zone will result in an immediate ticket being issued.

To avoid potential safety hazards & receiving any parking penalty notices, please take a few extra moments to find safer parking outside of posted restricted areas when dropping off & picking up your child/children.
