Pathway Construction Resumes Next Week in Shelburne

Exciting news for residents! The Community Pathway Improvement Project is set to resume next week as contractors remobilize on Monday. The project, aimed at enhancing accessibility and connectivity, will bring temporary pathway closures while work is underway.

Paving is scheduled to take place from May 20 to May 23, weather permitting. During this time, residents are encouraged to use caution around work areas and follow posted signage.

The project includes resurfacing and widening of several pathways, including:

  • Greenwood Park pathway
  • Greenwood Avenue linkage
  • Simon Street Park pathway
  • Simon Street linkage

These improvements will create multi-use trails that support walking, jogging, cycling, rollerblading, and scooters, while ensuring accessibility for all. The Town of Shelburne remains committed to enhancing park and recreation services as part of its Strategic Priorities Goals.
