The Town of Shelburne is sharing information regarding the Primrose Elementary School Boundary review which is summarized below. 

The Upper Grand District School Board is conducting a boundary review in order to address accommodation pressures at Primrose Elementary School in Mulmur.

A boundary review process is used to deal with schools that are over or under capacity, and allows staff to look at a variety of options. This review involves both Primrose and Centennial Hylands elementary schools (ES). Any changes that are approved will be implemented in the 2024-25 school year.

How to Get Involved:

• Provide feedback through the Primrose ES Boundary Review Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VTL8KJX 
• Email at planning.info@ugdsb.on.ca. Please note while all emails received during the public process are reviewed by staff, individual responses will not be provided. A FAQ document will be posted on the website which will be updated on a regular basis.
• There is an opportunity for delegations (click here for procedure)
• A Public Information Session will be held on November 22, 2023, between 6-8pm at Primrose ES. Further details to come.

Timeline:

• October 17, 2023 - Finance & Facilities Meeting- Presentation of Initial Boundary Review Report for Adoption
• November 14, 2023 - Board Meeting – Decision to commence Boundary Review Process – Opportunity for Delegations
• November 22, 2023 - Public Information Session – Present Initial Boundary Review information – Gather feedback and answer questions
• January 23, 2023 - Finance & Facilities Meeting – Presentation of Final Boundary Review Report
• February 13, 2023 - Board Meeting – Decision related to Final Boundary Review Report – Opportunity for Delegations
• 2024-25 School Year – Implementation of any boundary change
