Resident Reminder: Boulevard Obstructions

As residents prepare their properties for the winter months, please remove any items on the boulevard or around boulevard trees. These items encroach on Town Property. Encroachments can create operational conflicts or hazards during the winter season when snow covers the ground. Damage to any items on the boulevard are not the responsibility of the Town. Items such as, but not limited to, landscaping materials, fencing, brick work, driveway curbing, irrigation systems, stakes, large boulders, replacing sod with river run stones, shall not be placed on the municipal right of way.

If an encroachment is identified, the Town may require the encroachment to be removed and the lands returned to its original state to the satisfaction of the Town. All costs related to the removal of the encroachment shall be at the encroaching party’s expense.
