Road, Laneway & Trail Improvements Underway in Shelburne

The Town of Shelburne is starting work this fall to fix and improve some roads, laneways, and walking trails. The work begins this week and should be done by the end of October (dependent on weather).

D Rock Construction will be completing the work. They will be working on:

  • Victoria Street (from Main Street to Andrew Street):
Approximately 100 meters of road will be repaved. This includes work being done on the sidewalk and parking lot entrance near Town Hall.
Note: The road and sidewalk will be closed during the paving.

  • Old School Lane (laneway off Gordon Street):
Paving of the laneway off Gordon St., south of the Natasha Paterson Memorial Park.

  • Greenwood Park Trail:
The trail will be extended from Brigands Field to Morden Drive and Tansley Street.

Work Schedule:

The construction work is scheduled to take place from October 6 through to the beginning of November 2025, weather permitting.

Workers will be on site Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Daily work schedule may vary.

There will be heavy equipment involved. Higher noise levels are expected during construction. Traffic control will be in effect.

The Town thanks everyone for their patience while this work is being done. You can also check for updates at Municipal511.ca.
