Sanitary Sewer Flushing 

Sanitary Sewers throughout the Town will be flushed starting September 11, 2023 to remove grit, sand, gravel and greases from the sewer mains. This is a preventative maintenance operation that helps to prevent sewer blockages, odour generation and will preserve the Town’s infrastructure preventing wear and blockages.

The work will not affect most homeowners or cause any disruption to service although there is a possibility that small spills, noise, and odours may result in some homes.
