Saturday and Sunday Transit in Shelburne - Expanded Stops and Increased Service

Starting Saturday April 29, 2023, through to December 31, 2023 Shelburne will have fourteen (14) weekend bus service stops which increased from four (4). The routes will run for 5 hours starting at 10:00 am and ending at 2:56 pm.

The weekend transit in Shelburne provided by GTR is comprised of ten (10) runs each day. Weekend service is five (5) hours per day and the route is every thirty (30) minutes. Weekend transit service is not provided on Statutory Holidays.

GTR Transit weekend service continues to originate in Owen Sound, travel to Dundalk and then to Shelburne for the first run of the day. Shelburne to Dundalk to Owen Sound would be last the run of the day.

The cost per ride is $5.00 for adults, $4.50 for seniors (55 years of age and older) and free for children under 5. Payment is by cash only. The weekend service will now allow riders to wait at any of the 14 weekend stops. There is no pre-booking and pre-paying available for weekend service.
