Shelburne Responds to Ice Storm with Cleanup Efforts Underway

The Town of Shelburne was significantly impacted by an ice storm over the weekend, prompting immediate action from town staff who have been working tirelessly on storm cleanup and assessments since Saturday evening.

Cleanup operations are being conducted on a priority basis, with the initial focus on ensuring the safety and accessibility of roads, sidewalks, laneways, and trails. The Town urges residents to remain patient while these efforts progress.

If you have sustained damage to your property, residents are advised to contact their insurance company as the first step. After reaching out to your insurance provider, please complete the Town's "online claims reporting form" for further assistance.

For other issues unrelated to property damage, residents can submit their concerns using the online "Report a Concern" form. Town staff will log these submissions and review them accordingly.

The Town of Shelburne appreciates the community's understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. Together, we will navigate this recovery process and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents
