Sidewalk Replacements 2024

The Town of Shelburne is scheduled to complete its annual repair and construction program to ensure that sidewalks are in a good state of repair. Sidewalks are inspected yearly as per Ontario Regulation 239/02 and marked for any hazards.

PROJECT SCHEDULE

The project work is anticipated to be completed between Monday October 28, 2024 to Friday November 01, 2024. Works will be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Residents should be aware that this schedule is subject to change due to weather impacts and other unforeseen construction delays.

SCOPE OF WORK

The work to be completed under this project includes:

  • Removal and disposal of existing sidewalk
  • Compact granular material and replace with concrete
  • Concrete curb and gutter repair (as needed)
  • Landscape repair of topsoil and seed
