Sidewalk Replacement 2025
PUBLIC NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION WORK
The Town of Shelburne is scheduled to complete its annual repair and construction program to ensure that sidewalks are in a good state of repair. Sidewalks are inspected yearly as per Ontario Regulation 239/02 and marked for any hazards.
These improvements are part of our commitment to improving walkability for safer, more accessible streets for everyone.
Project Schedule
The project work is anticipated to be completed between Monday October 20, 2025 to Friday October 31, 2025 weather permitting. Works will be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residents should be aware that this schedule is subject to change due to weather impacts and other unforeseen construction delays.

What to expect
The work to be completed under this project includes:
- Removal and disposal of existing sidewalk
- Compact granular material and replace with concrete
- Concrete curb and gutter repair (as needed)
- Landscape repair of topsoil and seed
