Sikh Heritage Month
The Sikh Flag was raised on April 16 at 10:00 a.m.
Date has been changed to April 16 from April 3, 2024 due to weather.
April is an important month for the Sikh community. In this month, Sikh Canadians celebrate Vaisakhi, which marks the creation of the Khalsa also known as Khalsa Day across Ontario.
The flag raising recognizes the important contributions that Sikh Canadians have made to Ontario’s social economic, political and cultural fabric. Sikh Heritage Month is an opportunity to remember and celebrate and educate future generations.
Please join us as we raise the Sikh Flag.
