Snow Clearing

Town continues snow clearing operations

Staff are out working to clear snow from roads and sidewalks. Primary roads will be cleared first, followed by local residential streets, crescents, and courts.

To help assist with efficient snow removal, residents should:

• Not park on any roadway as it prevents timely and efficient snow removal.

• Not put waste containers on the road, sidewalks, and snowbanks.

• Give snowplows plenty of room as they are working to keep roads safe.

Reminders:

• If you have cleared your driveway, but Snowplows have not cleared your street, be prepared for a windrow at the bottom of your driveway.
• Roads and sidewalks that haven’t been cleared may be slippery, please take extra time and caution when travelling.

Staff make every effort to clear roads and sidewalks as quickly and effectively as possible. Please allow for 24 hours after a snowstorm to make any clearing requests.
