Town of Shelburne Introduces New Property Tax Payment Plan
Shelburne, ON – The Town of Shelburne is pleased to announce the introduction of a new payment plan option for property taxes, aimed at providing greater flexibility and convenience for residents.
Starting with the January 2025 Interim Billing, residents can now opt for the 12-Monthly Payment Plan. This new option allows property taxes to be spread evenly throughout the entire year, making it easier for homeowners to manage their finances.
Details of the New 12-Monthly Payment Plan:
- Interim Billing: Divided into 6 monthly payments from January to June.
- Final Billing: Divided into 6 monthly payments from July to December.
This new plan is in addition to the existing payment options:
- Option #1: Tax Instalment Due Date Payments, withdrawn on the tax instalment due date.
- Option #2: 10-Monthly Payments, with payments divided into 5 monthly payments from January to May and July to November.
All terms and conditions remain the same across all payment plans.
Residents currently enrolled in one of the Town’s Preauthorized Payment Plans (PAP) can switch to the new 12-Monthly Payment option by contacting financial services.
