Proposals submitted by bidding Contractors will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Price;
• Schedule to complete the proposed works; and,
• Contractor qualifications and experience in completing similar projects.
• Domestic Supply Chain Plan.

The lowest of any proposal submitted will not necessarily be accepted.

The Ontario Provincial Standards – General Conditions of Contract shall apply for this project. A copy of

The Corporation of the Town of Shelburne is inviting proposals for the supply of one (1) 2025 or 2026 Mid-Size SUV.

Examples of vehicles in the Mid-Size SUV include selected Ford Explorer, Chevrolet Traverse, Chevrolet Blazer, or Honda Pilot.

The units offered must be a current model with the latest standard features available in the manufacturer’s design.

The Proponent is to meet or exceed the minimum specifications acceptable by the Town of Shelburne and in some cases may find it necessary to provide detail with respect to a noted specification to provide further explanation on why their product does or does not satisfy the specification.  For additional details the “SPECIFY” column can be used to further explain the feature. In keeping with a transparent and fair evaluation, please provide documentation of additional features that may be of interest to the Town and may assist with the evaluation of tender submission.

The successful Proponent shall deliver to the Town’s Operations Yard, one (1) 2025 or 2026 Mid-Size SUV with compatible components, to the satisfaction of Will Thomson, Manager of Operations, Parks and Facilities, by August 01, 2026 or an alternative date, mutually agreed upon by both parties.

All Unit Bid Prices are to include one (1) 2025 or 2026 Mid-Size SUV specified herein in full conformity with the Town’s specifications.

DELIVERY DATE

The Proponent is responsible for providing a firm delivery date. The Town has the expectation of a completed vehicle delivered to the Operations Yard, 124 Luxton Way, Shelburne, ON, L9V 3M8, by August 01, 2026 (negotiable).

Scope of Work

Project includes the installation of fencing at Thunder Soccer Field site (Greenwood Park, 355 Greenwood Street) and Hyland Village Pumping Station (350 Barnett Drive). Elements of prosed work under this contract include but are not limited to:

• Supply and install standard industrial commercial chain link fencing, black vinyl coating mesh and posts according to plans, standards and bid form attached(Appendix A, Appendix B). Minimum 2in mesh and 9-gauge chain link.
• Remove, dispose and replace existing fence around Thunder Soccer Field approximately 409 meters.

Scope of Work

The successful proponent will support the Town’s efforts to enhance and beautify the downtown core by supplying vibrant, eye-catching annual flower arrangements. All arrangements must be visually full at the time of delivery, with bright, colourful blooms that contribute to an attractive and welcoming streetscape.
Annual flowers selected for this project must be hardy, capable of withstanding challenging downtown conditions—including vehicle pollution—and must provide long-lasting colour throughout the growing season.

All raised planter boxes must be fitted with appropriately sized pots or inserts, ensuring a maximum fit for optimal appearance and plant health.

- two (2) 2023 Class 2b, Commercial, ¾ ton, Full Size, Multi-Purpose 4x4 Pick Up Trucks with Crew Cab or Double Cab with the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) ranges from 8,501-10,000 lbs. (3,856-4,536 kg).
- one (1) 2023 Compact SUV/Crossover.

The Town of Shelburne invites quotations for installation of a pathway at Greenwood Park. The pathway will lead users of the park from the park washroom to the newly installed splash pad. The pathway will be within the minimum requirements of the Accessibility Ontarians Disability Act (AODA) with an asphalted surface.
