General Pool Information

Changerooms
All changerooms will be open for the 2025 summer season.

Accessibility

The CDRC pool has a chairlift available for getting in and out of the water. When you arrive at the facility contact a staff member for assistance with the proper entrance and equipment. Gradual steps into the water are also available.
Personal property
Participants are responsible for their person belongings while participating in programs. The CDRC assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items. All personal belongings will be left in a designated space on the pool deck. The CDRC encourages participants to arrive at the pool with minimal personal belongings.
Inclement weather

Swimming lessons will continue even during rain providing the Deck Supervisor can see the bottom of the pool, specifically the black dot.

In the event of thunder and lightning, participants will evacuate the pool, for minimum 30 minutes after the last boom of thunder or lightning. Swim instructors will provide Water Safety and First Aid instruction inside the building.

Credits and refunds are not provided for inclement weather.

Photographs/videos

All program participants must have completed/signed a waiver for photography. Photographic/video equipment (including personal digital assistants and cellular phones) are not allowed in changerooms, washrooms or program spaces. Taking photos or videos of participants during programs is not permitted. Participants will be asked for written permission to have photographs taken by the media or CDRC staff for promotional purposes.
