    May is Polish Heritage Month in Ontario. The Legislative Assembly of Ontario introduced Bill 18 on December 9, 2021, to establish the month of May as Polish Heritage Month in recognition of the great impact Polish Canadians have had on Ontario's history, culture, and community.

    2024 Street Sweeping

    The Town is undergoing its annual street sweeping program for Spring 2024. Sand and debris are swept from the Town’s roads and parking lots to keep streets and sewers clean. This prevents materials from clogging storm sewers and provides a safe and clean driving surface.

    The Town of Shelburne would like to advise that the Tennis and Pickleball Courts located at KTH Park (197 Homestead Drive) are open for the 2024 season.

  • Virtual Engagement Session - Proposed New By-Law

    Did you know, front and side yard parking is prohibited in the Town of Shelburne?

    To streamline the enforcement process, the Town of Shelburne is considering enacting an unauthorized area parking bylaw. The proposed new bylaw would create a bylaw parking infraction for parking on a front or side yard.  Officers would have the ability to issue parking infraction notices instead of issuing Zoning Notices, in an effort to reduce property damage, address safety concerns and maintain neighbourhood aesthetics.
