Heat Warning in Effect for Shelburne Area
June 30, 2026
Residents are being encouraged to take precautions as Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Heat Warning for the region, with hot and humid conditions expected to continue through Friday.
Temperatures are expected to reach 31°C to 33°C during the day, while overnight temperatures will remain warm at 21°C to 23°C. Humidex values are forecast to reach 34 to 36, making it feel even hotter. The most intense heat is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, when temperatures could climb as high as 34°C.
In addition to the heat, hot and humid weather can contribute to poorer air quality, which may increase health risks for some individuals.
