The Town of Shelburne’s Touch a Truck event is happening on Saturday, May 23 at the Operations Yard. This free community event is an opportunity for kids to get up close with a variety of vehicles and chat with the people that operate them.

Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Sensory Hour from 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Location: Operations Yard, 124 Luxton Way
As part of Public Works Week, attendees can check out a snowplough, backhoe, excavator, RTV, trackless, zero-turn lawn mower, and more! Shelburne Fire will also be on-site with their vehicles to explore.
Sensory Hour will take place from 10:00am-11:00am, with no horns, sirens, or flashing lights.
Beyond the trucks families can enjoy free popcorn, button making and facepainting for kids to collect stamps as they visit each vehicle. While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the local food bank.
