Town of Shelburne Hiring Casual Facility Attendant

The Town of Shelburne is currently seeking a Casual Facility Attendant to provide facility, cleaning, event, and customer service support at Town Hall, the Fiddle Park Commissary Kitchen, and other municipal facilities as required.

This position plays an important role in helping maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents, renters, and community groups. The successful candidate will assist with opening and closing facilities, setting up and taking down equipment for events, cleaning and maintenance duties, and supporting facility users with a professional and friendly approach.

As a casual position, there is no fixed work schedule. Hours will vary based on facility rentals, events, and operational requirements, including evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing Town facilities
• Cleaning and maintaining washrooms, kitchens, and public spaces
• Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for events
• Providing support at the Fiddle Park Commissary Kitchen and other Town facilities
• Restocking supplies and managing waste and recycling
• Performing snow and ice removal as required
• Assisting facility users and responding to inquiries
• Monitoring facilities and reporting safety, maintenance, and security concerns
• Performing minor maintenance repairs and related duties

The 2026 wage range for the position is $21.22 to $24.96 per hour.
