Voting is Now Open in the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election

Today is the day! Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on October 16, 2026, eligible voters in the Town of Shelburne can cast their ballot in the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election.

With convenient internet and telephone voting, you can vote where life happens. Whether you're at home, at work, visiting your favourite coffee shop, or anywhere with internet or telephone access, casting your ballot is quick and accessible. Internet and telephone voting is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the voting period and will remain open until Voting Day, October 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Eligible voters can cast their ballot online or by telephone from any location where internet or telephone service is available, including from the comfort of home.

Residents who require assistance are welcome to visit the Voter Help Centre at Shelburne Town Hall, 203 Main Street East. Town staff can assist with the voting process, answer questions, and provide access to internet voting through a public kiosk.

• 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

October 19 to 23

• 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Extended Hours

• October 20 and 24: 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• October 24: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Voting Day - October 26

• 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
