WHEREAS on June 21, Canada will celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day. This is a day for all Canadians to acknowledge the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples;
June 24, 2024. All pet owners who license their dogs with the Town of Shelburne can upgrade their city-branded pet licence tag to one of DocuPet's designer tag styles.
There may be unpleasant odours in the areas surrounding the Shelburne Wastewater Treatment Facility. Biosolids haulage is currently scheduled and will take a few weeks. Please note that the odour may increase during haulage, but should dissipate shortly afterwards. The plant is operated by the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) on behalf of the Town.

The Pride Flag was raised today.
Whereas the Ontario Traffic Council School Crossing Guard Program Committee, of which the Town of Shelburne is a member, has proposed that Crossing Guard Appreciation Week in all participating municipalities across the Province be declared for the week of June 3rd – June 7th 2024; and
Whereas every year, cities all around the world celebrate the diversity that strengthens our Town to commemorate and support sexual and gender minorities' liberation; and
