We value the contributions that groups, agencies and volunteers make to improve our community. To show our appreciation, we give out municipal grants each year that help support the efforts of our community organizations. The total amount of grant money available is set annually in the municipal budget.
You can apply by completing the municipal grant funding application and sending it to the Treasurer.
We give preference to organizations that demonstrate community support, efficient use of resources, sound business practices and develop volunteer knowledge and skills. For a full list of eligibility requirements, types of grants and the decision-making process, please review the Grant Funding Policy.
We award the following different types of grants.
