  • Community Excellence Awards

    Shelburne Council recognizes the need to publicly recognize local individuals for their outstanding achievements.

    The purpose of the Community Excellence Awards is to recognize achievements in any of the following areas:

  • New Town Hall Hours

    As of October 18th, 2021 Town of Shelburne administration offices will be open to the public Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and closed between 12 pm to 1pm. There will be no public access to Town Hall each day from 12 noon to 1 pm.

  • The Three P's

    Only 3 things can go into the toilet Pee, Poo and Toilet Paper.

    Please do not flush disinfectant wipes or paper towels down the toilet. Even wipes labeled "flushable" can clog pipes. Wipes and paper towels can cause sewage back-ups, overflows and spills which are a public health risk, cause expensive property damage and threatens our environment.

    COVID-19 Update from Mayor Wade Mills April 16, 2021

    There were 4,812 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today which is the highest single daily case count that we have seen since the beginning of the pandemic.  Province-wide, our cumulative reported totals are now 408,383 cases, 360,472 resolved cases, 7,664 reported deaths. It is also being reported that there are currently 701 patients currently in ICU with 480 of those on ventilators.

    While many were asked to stay at home and practice social distancing, others continued to work and provide essential services to the community, it’s important that we honour and pay tribute to these incredibly brave and dedicated essential workers for keeping our community functioning during these unprecedented times;

    COVID-19 Update from Mayor Wade Mills March 5, 2021

    There were 1,250 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today.  Province-wide, our cumulative reported totals are now 306,007 cases, 288,383 resolved cases, 7,046 reported deaths, and 643 patients currently hospitalized. It is also being reported that there are currently 280 patients currently in ICU and 183 of those are on ventilators. All of our provincial hospitalization metrics are down slightly over last week.

    COVID-19 Update from Mayor Wade Mills February 5, 2021

    There were 1,670 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today and we have seen the lowest test positivity rate since October.  Province-wide, our cumulative reported totals now sit at 275,330 cases, 253,170 resolved cases, 6,438 reported deaths, and 1,043 patients currently hospitalized. It is also being reported that there are currently 325 patients currently in ICU and 225 of those are on ventilators – both of these metrics are down from last week which is a great sign.
