Welcome to the Town of Shelburne

At the Town of Shelburne, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a transparent, accountable local government. Our goal is to ensure residents have easy access to important information and services.

Shelburne is home to 8,989 residents and spans a land area of 5.71 square kilometres - According to the 2021 Statistics Canada. Our dedicated team of 57 staff members—including full-time, part-time, and contract employees—work hard every day to keep our town running smoothly.

Town Hall Hours

Town Hall is open to the public:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Closed daily from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Please note there is no public access during the lunch hour.

We encourage everyone to continue using our digital services whenever possible. The best way to reach staff is by email, and you can conveniently pay your bills online by visiting our Paying My Bills webpage.

Our engagement platform, Have Your Say Shelburne, is an online space where you can learn about Town projects and share your ideas and feedback. This initiative reflects our commitment to proactively bringing people together to shape our community and strengthen the place we all call home.
