Town of Shelburne Hiring Policy

The Town of Shelburne Hiring Policy applies to all positions within the Town including full-time, part-time, temporary, seasonal and contract positions. This is applicable to both internal and external candidates.

Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resumes in confidence, emailed to hr@shelburne.ca. Resumes may be submitted by email or in person to the Town Hall located at 203 Main Street. 

We do not accept resumes after the deadline. We encourage you to subscribe to the careers page to stay up to date. Having a copy of your resume saved can assist you so you can apply quickly and easily the next time a suitable position is available.

We hire summer students each year, with most positions being available in our Operations Department (in General Parks Maintenance, Horticulture and Roads Maintenance).

Town of Shelburne employees are non-unionized.
