Community Support Drives Success of Annual Golf Tournament
The success of this year’s Annual Golf Tournament on June 4 is a testament to the remarkable support and enthusiasm of our community. Over the past seven years, this event has continued to grow, thanks to the ongoing generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers who make it possible.
While final expenses are still being confirmed, early estimates suggest the tournament raised approximately $18,000. These funds will play an important role in advancing local initiatives, including the completion of a Commissary Kitchen at Fiddle Park in Shelburne and the construction of a Snack Shack in support of Shelburne Soccer.
In previous years, proceeds from the tournament have also contributed to valued community enhancements such as the Rotary Splash Pad and improvements to local parks. Each year’s success builds on the last, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing community spaces and services for residents of all ages.
