09-2022 Hall Attendant, Occasional

The Town of Shelburne is accepting resumes for the position of a Hall Attendant – Occasional. This is an occasional position with varying shifts including weekends. The 2022 salary range is $19.82 per hour.   

Reporting to the Manager of Operations Parks and Facilities, general duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Open and close the Grace Tipling Hall Theater and arming/unarming security system.
  • Set up coat rack, table, and chairs.
  • Snow and ice removal.
  • Cleaning all public areas such as theater, washrooms, change rooms, and stairwells.  Ability to use a broom, vacuum, mop and cleaning supplies.
  • Restocking amenities in washroom.
  • Emptying garbage’s.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

04-2022 Seasonal Gardener

The Town of Shelburne will receive applications until June 1, 2022 for a Seasonal Gardener. The Seasonal Gardener is responsible for providing the overall horticultural management, installation, display and maintenance in the Town of Shelburne. 

The Seasonal Gardener works closely with downtown beautification members and municipal staff to maintain the horticultural aspects and overall tidiness of their assigned community’s public spaces, downtown corridors, and parks; will assist staff with improvement and beautification of the downtown core area

03-2022 Seasonal Student Workers

The Town of Shelburne will receive applications until June 1, 2022 for three (3) seasonal student labourer positions. Work duties will consist of grass cutting/lawn maintenance, landscaping/gardening/horticultural, painting, cleaning, assisting with internment and other related cemetery duties. This position will include the use of push mowers, riding lawn mowers, large tractors with under carriage mower decks and weed trimmers.
