The Wrapped in Courage - End Gender-Based Violence Flag is being raised on November 25, 2024 at Jack Downing Park, 140 Main Street East.

Mayor Wade Mills, on behalf of Council, proclaims and declares that November 25th, 2024, shall be known as “The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women” in the Town of Shelburne and urge all citizens to recognize this day by taking action to support survivors and becoming part of Ontario wide efforts to end genderbased violence.
