  • Shelburne Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee Statement

    The Shelburne Diversity and Equity Committee has been informed of, and is troubled by the recent incident that happened at Centre Dufferin District High School. We have yet to hear all the details, and want to be respectful to all parties involved, and to any ongoing investigation being conducted by the Police and the Upper Grand District School Board.

  • Smoking or Vapourizing Bylaw

    On July 25, 2022, the Mayor, and Council passed a smoking or vapourizing of tobacco bylaw that regulates smoking or vapourizing of tobacco on municipally owned or leased properties in the Town of Shelburne. Please see.

  • National Indigenous Peoples Day Flag Raising

    This morning at Town Hall the the DCCRC (Dufferin County Cultural Resource Circle) flag for National Indigenous Peoples Day was raised. .

  • Brain Injury Awareness Month

    Mayor Wade Mills, on behalf of the Council of the Town of Shelburne, proclaims June 2022 as “Brain Injury Awareness Month” in the Town of Shelburne and encourage citizens to join the Ontario Brain Injury Association’s campaign to “Shine a Light on Brain Injury”. Proclamation.

    Mayor Wade Mills, on behalf of the Council of the Town of Shelburne, proclaims June 21, 2022 as National Indigenous Peoples Day in the Town of Shelburne. Proclamation.

  • Damage to Park Washrooms and Playgrounds

    Over the June 4 and 5, 2022 weekend several Shelburne Town parks were vandalized with tagging and graffiti. Town staff continue to remove the tagging and clean up the damage.
