The Town of Shelburne issues a variety of licences and permits. Whether you are renovating your home, getting married or starting a new business, you will need to apply for a Town permit or licence. Review our application instructions to help make this a seamless process.

Apply for a building permit if you are planning to add a structure to your property or make renovations to the current structure. You will need to get approval from the Town of Shelburne before you can apply for a building permit through the County of Dufferin.

All dogs in the Town of Shelburne need a dog tags. Learn how to apply for a dog licence and keep your pet safe.

Lottery licences are required for every organization or services group in the Town of Shelburne wishing to sell raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets, break-open tickets or bingo cards.

Application forms are available at Town Hall located at 203 Main St. E. You can stop by from Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 4:30 to fill out a lottery licence application. The licence costs 3% of the total prize value.
